On Friday afternoon, a plane crashed in the city of Vinhedo, located in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil.

According to information from Flightradar24, the aircraft involved in the accident is a twin-engine passenger plane, model ATR-72, which departed from Cascavel (PR) en route to Guarulhos (SP).
The accident occurred at 1:25 PM on Edueta Street, near number 2500, according to the São Paulo Fire Department. The crash site is near the Miguel Melhado de Campos Highway (SP-324). Seven firefighting teams have been mobilized to carry out the rescue.
Hospitals in the cities of Vinhedo and Valinhos (SP) have been alerted to receive potential injured individuals. In addition to the fire department, Civil Defense and Military Police are also on-site to assist with rescue operations.
International media reports indicate that the aircraft, operated by Voepass, may have lost control during the flight, as suggested by unverified videos showing the plane spinning out of control while en route to Guarulhos Airport.
